Early Access Programs in Ukraine: Opportunities & Practices

About the webinar
On September 25, 2023, the first closed webinar for physicians on the "Programs Early Access in Ukraine: Possibilities and Practices of Application" topic was organized and hosted by Eirhub (https://eirhub.eu/category.html), a Ukrainian life sciences consulting firm and the adult cancer support fund Inspiration Family (https://inspirationfamily.org).
During the webinar, the medical community (oncology-focused) was informed about the legislative changes in Ukraine that permit the establishment of various early and extended access mechanisms in Ukraine. These predominantly compassionate-based programs (CUPs) were examined to determine how physicians, patient advocacy groups, and patients can participate in them.
During the webinar, Yevgen Brovko and Anastasiia Gavrysh, pharmaceutical policy experts from Eirhub, shared the research findings on the global concept of early and expanded access to innovative drugs. They informed the attendees about the latest regulatory changes in Ukraine that now permit the utilization of several mechanisms for early and expanded access in the country.
