On behalf of our client, one of the world's 20 leading pharmaceutical companies, we are looking for a successful candidate to fill the Medical Science Liaison position.

This position is in Kyiv, Ukraine. You will report directly to the Medical Director.


Position overview

A Medical Scientific Liaison acts as the primary medical contact for External Experts and engages them in different scientific discussions and projects, helping to explore the full potential of the Company’s medications.


SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND ATTITUDES:
  • University degree in Medicine (preferable)/ Pharmaceuticals;
  • Industry experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs in innovative global pharmaceutical companies would be a huge advantage;
  • 2+ years of working experience in the position of Medical Representative at an international pharmaceutical company;
  • Experience in the generation and interpretation of scientific information into clinically relevant data according to criteria of evidence-based medicine;
  • Strong business mindset and thorough knowledge of marketing, external customer’s needs, and compliance necessity;
  • Digital interest and experience in communication in the digital environment;
  • Strong skills in External Expert management;
  • Strong lateral leadership, proactive attitude, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, team- and networker;
  • Readiness and openness for business trips;
  • Upper-Intermediate/Intermediate English level is required

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Building and maintaining medical/scientific expertise for the respective product and therapeutic area;
  • Providing medical input for local IBP (Integrated Brand Plan) execution;
  • Planning, executing, and monitoring the effectiveness of local medical activities;
  • Acting as primary medical contact with external experts (more than 70% of working time spent);
  • Identifying, interacting, and engaging with EEs, clinicians, scientific societies, and other data-driven stakeholders to understand and satisfy Company’s and Customer’s needs and driving awareness for Customer’s products in the academic and clinical community;
  • Contributing with medical expertise to cross-functional activities;
  • Providing medical training to ensure sufficient product knowledge of FF and other departments;
  • Coordinating, executing, and monitoring the effectiveness of local medical activities and programs such as non-interventional studies, non-trial activities, IIS, or compassionate use programs.
