On behalf of our client, a LEGAL ADVISORY FIRM FROM NETHERLANDS, we are looking for a successful candidate to fill the position of Marketing and Communication Assistant to join our client’s team on a freelance basis.

This role is ideal for those looking for ad-hoc work, with a workload not exceeding one day per week (on average), making it perfect for freelancers seeking flexible opportunities. The ideal candidate will provide valuable support in executing marketing and communication strategies to enhance the Client’s brand visibility, engage with the audience, and drive business growth.

About the Client:

The client is a legal advisory firm seasoned in the legal aspects of international business. The client has a strong life sciences team that works for hospitals as well as pharmaceutical companies and medical devices companies.

Client’s HQ is located in a modern, bright office building in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and the team works in an informal atmosphere with committed colleagues where there is room for relaxation and flexibility in addition to hard work.

This position is a remote, work-from-home opportunity, with the option to visit the Client’s office in Amsterdam twice a year.


Your Profile:
  • Proven experience as a Marketing and Communication Assistant/Specialist in an international environment remotely.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms for business purposes.
  • Basic graphic design skills and experience with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and analytics tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Excellent command of the English language.

Your duties include:
  • Content creation: craft high-quality marketing content, including blog posts, social media updates (LinkedIn), email campaigns, and press releases.
  • Social Media Management: help manage and maintain our social media profiles (LinkedIn), including content scheduling, engagement monitoring, and responding to comments and messages.
  • Graphic design: create or assist in creating visually appealing graphics and materials for marketing campaigns, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Market research: conduct research to gather data and insights on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to inform marketing strategies.
  • Public relations: drafting press releases and monitoring media coverage.
  • Administrative tasks: handle administrative responsibilities, such as managing marketing calendars, organizing meetings, and maintaining marketing databases.
