On behalf of our client, one of the world's 20 leading pharmaceutical companies, we are looking for a successful candidate to fill the Finance & Administration Manager (FAM) position.

This position is in Kyiv, Ukraine.
POSITION OVERVIEW: The local FAM acts as the legal representative of the OPU, jointly with the Country Head, in accordance with legislation, shareholder and/or board resolutions, and the company's regulations and directives.
BACKGROUND, REQUIRED SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES:
- University degree, postgraduate studies in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 3–5 years of experience in at least three main areas of responsibility (e.g., Finance, Controlling, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Legal & Compliance).
- 5-10 years professional experience in Controlling, Internal Auditing, and Accounting or Tax.
- 2-5 years of leadership experience managing teams and projects.
- Preferred candidate has experience with one of the Big 4 and an international company (preferably in pharma).
- Advanced English is a must.
- Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills.
- Intercultural awareness, prior international experience is a plus.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All finance and accounting processes, such as:
- Local accounting and tax, including the preparation of financial and tax documents.
- Local financial planning and business partnering.
- Financial decision support of local businesses, including credit management.
- Follow-up on cash collection and cash flow management.
- Purchasing, mainly local procurement.
- Local supply chain topics and 3PL oversight.
- Local Quality Compliance processes, including:
- Implementation of quality processes/requirements as requested by regional Quality to ensure that all relevant GDP/GMP requirements are followed.
- Performance of Quality Management Reviews and escalation of quality issues to local/regional management.
- Support of local Discovery Research entities:
- Alignment with IU Controlling on planning, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting.
- Partner with senior management on managing their budgets, maintaining governance and oversight, and applying the standard company processes.
- Local oversight of information systems and office administration
- Local legal matters, including serving as a liaison with external legal consultants.
- Active member of the local Management Team and driver of local implementation of company strategy.
